Frustrated with the out-of-the-box Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
User Tasks web part? We feel your pain, which is why
bWare Technologies is proud to introduce our newest product, the
User Tasks Web Part for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 or MOSS 2007. Currently under development and approaching final testing, our
User Tasks Web Part provides all of those missing features your users really want. We kept our familiar
What's New Web Part ToolPart interface, so you users can move between our web parts with ease. Your users now have the flexibility to aggregate their
Tasks and
Project Tasks from a Site, a Site and its sub-sites, or an entire Site Collection with dozens of configuration options.
Choose the Columns you want in the order you want, select your own default sort, styles, grouping behavior and even between Tasks and Project Tasks Content Types. We even added those convenient SharePoint style Context Menus so your users are only a click away from the most common List item functions. And perhaps best of all, all of this functionality comes at a very affordable Farm license price of just
$95USD! Other so called "Enhanced User Tasks" web parts with fewer features sell for hundreds more
per server, potentially costing you thousands on multi-server Farm installations. Why pay more and get less? Install our
User Tasks Web Part in your Windows SharePoint Services Farm and use the web part on as many Site Collection or SharePoint extended Web Applications as you like.
Tired of this?
Then get this...the bWare Technologies User Tasks web part!

Bruce, Sorry I just commented on the what's new web part context menu post but then I saw this. I am working on a Task web part project. How did you get Version? I have tried version/Version thinking I had a case probelm in my viewfield, but no luck. Care to share? By spdude on

spdude,For your FieldRef try..._UIVersionString. That should do it. Our Task web part won't fit your requirements? If you have the time I would like to hear about what you are doing...just drop me an email. Thanks. By Bruce Dishongh on

spdude,
You can try looking through the XML schema files in the Features directory of the default Lists included with WSS/MOSS. Or you can write some code to return all of the fields for a specific List using the SPFieldsCollection of the SPList class. By Bruce Dishongh on

josephdy,
It looks like our User Tasks web part will go on sale early next week. We have some remaining testing, and some documentation work to complete. Unfortunately, we do not have any packages ready for distribution at this time. Look for a coupon code on our Twitter account if you plan to make a purchase! By Bruce Dishongh on
