Personal view does not remember the category settings
Bruce,

we have a small issue with personal view of the web part. Setting up the shared view is OK, but when the user modify it's own personal view (user category, paging category) and saves them (OK or Apply button) the web part does not remember these new settings. For example when the user click on next page (allowing paging with 30 rows instead of 10 default and selecting another user category) the web part doesnt show the next page but shows the first page of the logged in user with 10 rows - i.e. paging and user category settings are cleared to default.

The web part has personal view enabled.

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards

Karel

Re: Personal view does not remember the category settings
Karel,

I just did a quick check, and all of the web part ToolPart properties are being stored as personal properties. I will take a look to see what I can find.

Karel,

I was finally able to reproduce the problem you have described. This one was tough to locate as it pertains to assembly obfuscation, which isn't readily apparent during normal testing. It has been resolved. I have quite a bit of testing to do for the items you have identified today, but I should have a new release ready later this evening that resolves all reported issues. Thank you for the help today.

Karel,

The latest release, 2010.1.03, corrects this issue and is now available for download from the web site on the User Tasks Web Part product page.
