Content Query WebPart
The jquery webpart does not seem to support Content Query webparts in sharepoint 2007?? They show up as panels, and when you check the boxes in the jquery properties the CQWP webparts do not seem to be affected. IS this a bug or by design? Is there anyway to fix this?

Re: Content Query WebPart
Matthew,

Sorry for the delay...I am traveling at the moment. When you say "they show up as panels"...do you mean the CQWP's are available for you to select in the jQuery Panel ToolPart (as they should be)...but once selected they are not turned into collapsible panels? If this is the case...then yes it is a bug. The intent of the jQuery web part is to be able to make panels out of any other type of web part (inherited from an ASP.NET web parts or SharePoint web parts) on the same web part page. This behaviour is not by design.

I am due back in town this Saturday...and will have a look as soon as I can upon my return. I will drop you a direct message when I have a fix. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Re: Content Query WebPart
I loaded in the update web part. However, now on Content Editor Web Parts - you can no longer choose the "Rich Text Editor" button when modifying the CEWP. If I uncheck the CEWP in the jpanel web part, I can then edit the CEWP and then check the box for it in the Jpanel again. So there is a work around, just a little annoying to have to keep unchecking and rechecking the jpanel.

Matthew,

What a pain that would be...that doesn't sound good. I will take a look in a few minutes to see what is going on. Thanks.

Re: Content Query WebPart
Matthew,

I did some testing on WSS 3.0 with the CEWP and I can click on the Rich Text Editor or Source Editor buttons, which does open the correct dialog, when the jQuery Panel web part is wrapping the CEWB or not. Additionally, the default open the tool pane link works as expected when a new CEWP is placed onto a page...and then wrapped by the jQuery Panel Web Part.

In your first post you were referencing the CQWP (MOSS)...is this the OOTB web part you are having trouble with? Or is the CEWB (WSS) the web part which is giving you trouble? I would be glad to give you a call to discuss...so I can get to the bottom of this issue. Just let me know how you would like to proceed. Thanks.
