What's New Web Part for Windows SharePoint Services 3 and MOSS 2007 | |
| The What's New Web Part is a content aggregator for recently created or changed list content. It can be used to display results for the current site, the current site and its sub-sites, or the entire site collection. Results are displayed in familiar Windows SharePoint Services style views. Place the web part on a web part page in multiple zones with multiple configurations to create consolidated dashboards of the content that is being added or changed on your SharePoint sites. |

Product FAQ's
- Does this web part support web part connections?
Yes. Our What's New Web Part implements the IWebPartTable interface and can be connected to 1 other web part on the same web part page. When connected to our What's New List Filter Provider web part you may create an advanced List filter by choosing specific lists for display in the What's New Web Part. However, any connected provider can be used as long as it supplies at least the following 4 column definitions.
Column Definitions:
Scope (String): Recognized values...Current, Recursive, SiteCollection
Name (String): The name of the Content Type
ListId (String): Any valid List Guid converted to a String
ContentType (String): Recognized SPListTemplateTypes (Content Types)...100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 115, 119, 120, 150, 201, 202, 201, 207, 211, 301, 302, 303 and 1100. A DEMO license will have a minimum of 15 days and a maximum of 30 days of use before expiration. Permanent licenses are issued within 2 business days of receipt of the Farm ID's you wish to license. Permanent licenses never expire and are good for the life of the product.
